At Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh, the B.Arch program combines architecture and technology to produce technically skilled architects who enter the field fully prepared. The School of Architecture pairs innovative design thinking with the timeless principles that made Lucknow a world-class architectural city, so students apply regenerative design, climate response, XR visualisation tools and urban design thinking in their own design process. Architecture is one of the most rapidly evolving and expanding fields in India, driven by urbanization, smart city development, housing and infrastructure projects. The program prepares individuals for careers in architectural design, urban planning, sustainable development, heritage conservation, digital design, and project or construction management. The curriculum also builds advanced digital design capability, letting graduates address ongoing questions of sustainable architecture and future-oriented built environments.
Architectural Design Studios form the core of every semester, so students design, build models, present concepts and develop professional design thinking from the outset.
Annual study tours, site visits, construction training, community engagement and a six-month professional internship keep hands-on exposure continuous.
Students progressively build proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, parametric design, generative AI, climate simulation, building energy simulation and XR/AR/VR.
Coursework in climatology, sustainable building design, environmental science, green energy systems and heritage conservation prepares students for climate-responsive practice.

The candidate needs to qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e. JEE) or NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture.

You become eligible for admission into Chandigarh University after clearing the CUCET examination. Following your attempt at CUCET, the result will shortly be intimated, based on which you can submit your application for admission and avail merit-based scholarship.
