The application
How to Apply
Register, sit the test, apply. The scholarship is assessed from the same score, so there is no second form for it.

Sign Up
Sign up or Register for CUCET by providing basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender, and Password). Your Email ID will serve as your Username for the portal, while you will set your password upon registration.

Apply for CUCET
Sign After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered contact number and email. Use the username and password to log in to your CUCET account.
- 03
Admission
You become eligible for admission into Chandigarh University after clearing the CUCET examination. Following your attempt at CUCET, the result will shortly be intimated, based on which you can submit your application for admission and avail merit-based scholarship.

Scholarships
The CUCET scholarship is assessed from your entrance test result. There is no separate application for it, and the earlier phase is worth more in every band but the top one.

Admissions at Chandigarh University, UP
01 — One test
Sit one exam, not five.
CUCET is the eligibility test and the scholarship test at the same time, for every programme that requires it. If you have already sat a national test, that score is recognised for scholarship assessment instead.
- JEE (Main) rank for Engineering UG
- CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA or XAT for MBA
- NATA or JEE Paper II for B.Arch, GATE for M.E.
02 — The number, up front
The cost is published before you apply.
Fee per semester is printed for all 69 programmes across 13 schools, alongside the hostel rate and the four routes families actually use to fund it. Nothing here is quoted on request.
