Bar Council of India
All Law programmes
All programs of Law at Chandigarh University are approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), a body established under the Advocates Act 1961 that regulates the legal practice and legal education in India. It prescribes standards of professional conduct, etiquettes and exercises disciplinary jurisdiction over the bar. It also sets standards for legal education and grants recognition to Universities whose degree in law will serve as a qualification for students to enroll themselves as advocates upon graduation.

The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program at Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh, is approved by the Council of Architecture (COA), the statutory body established under the Architects Act, 1972, that regulates the profession and education of architecture in India. It sets the minimum standards of architectural education required for a person to be recognised as a qualified architect and maintains the Register of Architects. The Council has accorded approval for the 5-year full-time Bachelor of Architecture degree course at CU-UP for the academic session 2026-2027, with an institutional code of UP51, making sure graduates are eligible to register as practising architects upon successful completion of their degree.
